firstly I'd like to say, lets not over think or over complicate this, casting on and off
always seems like the most daunting task for beginner knitters but believe me when
i say that once you get the hang of this then the rest will be a doddle!
instead of boring you with loads of text and things you may not understand quite
yet if you're doing this for the very first time, i am going to put up a link to my
YouTube account where i can show you step by step how to do this.
I will be doing this slowly for the complete beginners and talking through and guiding you long the way. if you are struggling at my pace then i recommend that you keep pausing and playing the video until you are happy with the process and confident .
To begin with i recommend using larger needles and bulky yarn so you can really see the stitches and can understand how the process works.
I will be using our very own King Cole "big value super chunky" with 10mm size needles, which you can buy from our website.
